Distribution Business Branding Shoot

Adaptive DCS employees photographed in their distribution warehouse.

Earlier this year, Adam from Adaptive DCS got in touch and asked me to capture some promotional photos for his new business. I’ve worked with Adam before, it always means a lot when people come back to me!

Adaptive DCS are a distribution company specialising in the cycling industry. As a cycling photographer in the midlands, I’m often out on location photographing bikes, so it was interesting to see the other side of the business.

Business owner, Adam, wanted new, high quality images that would be used for marketing on their new website and social media. They wanted to steer clear of stock photos and wanted to show their potential clients their actual setup and employees. These professional photographs were different from the norm, helping them stand out from their competitors.

Whilst on site I photographed the two owners in the warehouse for their home page. I used my professional lighting set up I positioned them in-between my flashes as to create separation from them and the background whilst in turn lighting up their features to make the photograph light and welcoming.

I have always thought it’s important to include photographs of people who work for the company. Often people buy people and staff members being introduced before hand creates a welcoming atmosphere and a sense of familiarity.

I also photographed the warehouse and shelving system that they operate with. This is so potential clients can see the scale that they are working on. Photographing boxes on shelves is, let’s be honest a bit boring, so I used a variety of lenses and unique angles to give the photographs depth and symmetry. I also introduced some movement to the images to make it a little more engaging.

To add more of a dynamic and personal angle to the photos, we headed out onto the local trail, to shoot some action photos of the two owners who are avid cyclists. Having a company ran by people who are genuinely involved in it for the love of it is definitely something to shout about.

I was super happy with the results from the day and think that my images bring their website together.

You can check out Adaptive’s website here, Adaptive DCS and see my images in action for yourself.

If you have a business and think that you could benefit from some fresh professional business photography then get in touch and we can arrange a chat.
